Your position

In your role as a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be a valuable member of the newly established Consultant Services Department which is set to face tremendous growth in the coming years. Here, you will create, design, and develop critical communications systems for a major energy project for one of our most prominent clients. This role will be a unique chance for you to utilize your expertise and experience in a large-scale project environment, while also making a real change for the global energy sector.  

Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or from our office in Copenhagen. The position is full-time and 30-50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of the project from conception to completion.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to: 

  • Ensure development of functional design solutions, both within own discipline and towards other disciplines. 
  • Engineering documentation, termination and loop design. 
  • Specify and prepare data sheets, documentation and vendor follow-up of instrument/automation packages
  • Participating in Front End Engineering Design, FEED
  • Programming, configurations and equipment testing before Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Following up on subcontractors’ designs, securing technical requirements and interface management
    • Offshore experience from Oil and Gas industry or from Marine Engineering related to offshore construction.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have: 

  • Experience working with telecommunication and designing network solutions.
  • A degree in electronic, telecommunications engineering or similar, but we are open to most technical and engineering backgrounds.
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written.
