Your position 

At Semco Maritime you will be joining our dedicated Product Line Team in our Renewables Department. Here you will assist in the development of our offshore substation CPQ (configure-price-quote) application and interfaces to other business applications. We have the largest project portfolios within offshore substations worldwide, so you will join a company in growth!

Your tasks & responsibilities 

At first you will have 2-week intro and receive an overall understanding of your main tasks and responsibilities, as well as a plan for the rest of the graduate programme. And then you will start 2-year trip through main directions of development such as Tender, Engineering, Products & Technology (Telecom and Firefighting), and Construction team to obtain all the diversified knowledge, skills, and experience you need on your career path. You will be expected to create and maintain your Personal Development Plan.  Other opportunities for shorter placement in the Service, Production, Procurement, or IT teams are also part of the 2-year programme.

Your tasks and learning will include but are not limited to:

  • Gain knowledge and experience of Semco’s Renewables divisions, processes, and execution methodologies
  • Product and Process configuration engineering
  • Systems and product management
  • Tacton Studio and CPQ software development
  • Development and execution of test scripts

Your profile & qualifications 

As a person we imagine that you are responsible and result oriented. You are someone who thinks in a data-centric manner as well as use your analytical mindset to find solutions for complex problems. Furthermore, you are comfortable with product modelling and configuration.

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

  • Have a relevant master’s degree in computer science, industrial engineering or similar
  • Have scripting experience
  • Fluency in written and oral English
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude and a curious mind to drive improvements

Training and support

During the graduate scheme, you’ll be supported in your technical and interpersonal development through a variety of practical experiences. More formally, additional online and classroom based training, mentoring and networking within the multi-cultural organisation.
