Then join our team as our new Security Operations Analyst.



The department

The position is based in Global IT Operation – Production Infrastructure - an area with 70+ employees distributed across Denmark and India. We are fully managing Novo Nordisk’s internal dedicated production IT infrastructure network called PSNet.

The purpose of our work is to support the digital infrastructure on each of Novo Nordisk production sites globally making sure that the production lines are up and running seamlessly, continuously and secure. 

 

We collaborate and co-create closely with colleagues across Novo Nordisk globally. We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to successfully deliver projects. We are on a journey applying agile ways of working in our organisation, and our IT projects will be delivered according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.

The job 

As our new Security Operations Analyst, you will be part of a team of 5 people placed in Denmark and India. You will be responsible for: Configuration, Design  and management of Infrastructure security (Firewalls/Proxy/IDS/IPS); Risk of Assessments Firewalls and Infrastructure; Algosec products like Firewall Analyser and FireFlow; Solarwinds network management.

 

You can expect to be part of our agile processes with daily stand up morning meetings as well as being presented to ad hoc tasks from users such as access and user rights. In addition, you will be working on how we can improve our infrastructure in terms of a transformation to virtualisation, automation processes as well as other initiatives improving our global set-up.

 

We expect you to think on behalf of users at the production lines and how you can add value to and be of service in their daily work. 

 

Your qualifications

You have an education as B.Sc or any higher qualification within IT or an analytical field. Preferably, you have at least 5-6 years of experience from a similar role with related responsibilities and tasks working with network security. You have experience in working with specification, design, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions in a large organisation. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of security aspects of network technology and server technology. Most importantly is your understanding of Cisco and Palo Alto Firewall technology. It is an advantage if you have experience with Proxy/IDS/IPS/scripting. 

 

You have planning and time management skills. You are motivated by taking ownership of larger deliverables across functional areas as well as challenging assignments. You absorb new knowledge quickly, and you are always open for developing new competencies. Independence, cross-cultural understanding, and fluency in written and spoken English are essential.
