The successful candidate will have great communication, friendly personality and able to multi-task, enjoy serving and interacting with customers and have a can do attitude to develop their knowledge and skills in their profession.
Cocktail experience and a willingness to experiment with new cocktails is an advantage.
A minimum of two years experience and fluent English are also required. Competitive rates are available for any suitable applicants.
The Candidate
- Previous experience essential with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Be able to work days, evenings or weekends (Full and Part time)
- Previous food and barista experience beneficial
- Friendly outgoing personality
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years previous Bar-tending experience
- Fluent in English.
- Capable of working in a busy environment
- Good customer service skills.
- Specific attention to service at all times during opening hours
- Professional person
- Previous bar tender experience essential
THE ROLE
Working within a team in delivering excellent customer service, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all customers;
- To ensure that customers are warmly welcomed and that orders are taken efficiently;
- Food and beverage service delivered in an efficient, warm and friendly manner;
- To always be familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, beverages on offer, wine list, etc.).
- To ensure the all areas are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
- Able to work day or evening shifts;
- Work as part of a team and individually in a busy environment
- Ensuring bar and front of house are always clean
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Cash handling experience
- Welcome customers and create a positive experience for them
- Good working knowledge of all beverages, cocktails and wine
- Ensure hygiene levels are adhered to at all times
Responsibilities
- greet customers and present beverage menus
- make recommendations and answer all related inquiries
- take orders from serving staff or directly from customers
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
- peel, slice, and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- mix and garnish cocktails according to standard specs
- serve snacks to customers seated at the bar
- up sell drink and snack items to customers

The SALARY - does not include customer tips. Tips are shared between staff on a daily basis.
