Job offer description
Being part of our Reservations team you will need to:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Book and enter room reservation requests using the Property Management System ( Opera)
- Enter rooming lists while ensuring accuracy, as required
- Update reservations ensuring a flawless check in and checkout process
- Ensure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilities
- Liaise with Sales and other departments as required
- Answer telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
To be successful in this role you will:
- Minimum experience of 1-2 years in the same field
- IT literacy, with experience of packages such as Excel, Opera, MS Word etc
- Impressive time management and organisational skills
- A friendly but professional work ethic
- Should have a good ability to co-operate, be service- minded and be willing to resume responsibility
- Speak, write and converse freely in both German and English. Knowledge of another language is an advantage.
