Release Coordinators

who will be responsible for ensuring that applications built by the development team are effectively and efficiently tested and coordinates, executes production deployment of the release.

 

The job:

Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation.

Assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.

Perform manual static testing to support automation needs.

To specify in detail how the Release will be tested and quality-assured.

Take requirements, user stories/acceptance criteria and translate them to test cases and automated test scripts using automated tools.

Work with the development and test teams to capture and reuse automated test cases, stubs and other test objects to ensure test automation is implemented successfully.

Create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (‘smoke’) test.

Back-end and front-end testing, taking part in the whole QA process.

Evaluate execution, troubleshoot, document, communicate and follow up on identified issues.

Report testing progress and results.

Verify that all testing has been completed and conditions have been met for deployment of the release.

Coordinate and administer production deployment of the release.



The requirements:

MSc or BSc degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field.

Strong data and process analysis skills.

Proven experience in software development/testing.

Test automation experience with knowledge of at least one industry standard test automation tool (e.g. Selenium, JUnit)

Experience with Jenkins Continuous Integration Services.

Solid programming and technical skills (e.g. DB2 SQL, XML, scripting, Java, etc.)

Familiarity with software development methodologies and testing techniques.

Team player, has empathy and good interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills (English and Hungarian).
