Working as a ward nurse in Terveystalo, requires you to have excellent cooperation and communication skills, as well as to coordinate, guide, teach and motivate not only your patients but also their relatives and your colleagues. Good organisational skills are therefore needed in order to plan, monitor and coordinate treatment plans and actions. 

Would you love working in these duties?

  • Monitoring the patient as they move and rest, as well as, if necessary, assisting and guiding them
  • Assisting and guiding the patient in personal hygiene, skincare and caring for their wounds
  • Implementing, teaching and providing guidance in patient care and follow-up care in a way that promotes commitment to care
  • Planning and coordinating patient care in a multidisciplinary manner in collaboration with other professionals and the patient/relatives
  • Preventing possible complications from illness and surgery by monitoring, assisting and guiding the patient in a multi-professional collaboration
Job requirements

We expect you to :

  • Have a license to practice your profession within the field of nursing as a registered or as a specialised nurse, and that this license has been granted to you by European Union country officials.
  • Have a genuine interest in working with patients
  • Have an independent customer service attitude with an active listener mode easily activated
  • Commit to free-of-charge language training, and to study a minimum 20 hrs per week in order to reach a B1/B2 level of the target language at the end of the training
  • Commit to relocating and starting work in Finland after reaching your target in language training
Nice to have

Considered as a plus are:

  • Experience from working in the area of nursing as a registered professional  after finalising your studies
  • Intermediate to fluent English language skills

Registered nurses (RN) - Inpatient ward

2451,59€/ month is the basic START MONTHLY SALARY with 0 years of experience

Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with no previous work experience after graduation, in accordance with the collective agreement of private healthcare services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.

Shift work (bank holidays and inconvenient hours) will be paid in accordance to the amount of such hours worked, increasing the monthly salary with approximately 20%, bringing the salary  

up to 2 941,90€/ month

2598,69€/ month is the BASIC MONTHLY SALARY with 4 years of experience

Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with 4 years of previous work experience after graduation, in accordance with the collective agreement of private healthcare services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.

Shift work (bank holidays and inconvenient hours) will be paid in accordance to the amount of such hours worked, increasing the monthly salary with approximately 20% bringing the salary  

up to 3 118,42€/ month.

2721,26€/ month is the BASIC MONTHLY SALARY with 7 years of experience

Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with 7 years of previous work experience after graduation, in accordance with the collective agreement of private healthcare services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.

Shift work (bank holidays and inconvenient hours) will be paid in accordance to the amount of such hours worked, increasing the monthly salary with approximately 20% bringing the salary  

up to 3 265,51€/ month


What is the whole offer?

When applying through us you can always count on the following basic principles of our partners job offers: 

  • full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week working time
  • A basic monthly, full-time, salary prior to reaching your licensed status and while studying 50% of working time
  • After licensing, a basic monthly salary starting from 2 400€/ month before taxes (*please, see above)
  • Additional compensation for inconvenient working hours (evenings, weekends, nights, holidays & overtime) which are paid on top of the basic monthly salary
  • Induction to your new tasks and responsibilities when you start working
