Job ID: 227347 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time We are looking for a Quality Manager for the Project department within our expanding Offshore business segment located at our Offshore Competency Center in Vejle, Denmark. What are my responsibilities? - Act and operatively support the Project Manager as expert and partner by planning, supervision, ensuring and reporting of appropriate activities with regard to failure prevention, effective proceedings (pro-active & re-active) and continuous improvements over the entire PM@Siemens process - The scope of the job incorporates all project related and technology determined proceedings activities in order to meet the targeted results with regard to quality under consideration of overall strategy, basic processes and their interfaces, tool application, compliance issues, contractual requirements, customer expectations and satisfaction, market statutory, regulatory and state of the art requirements, 3rd parties as suppliers and sub-contractors, consortium partner, authorities, surveyors, etc. and public conditions and interests - Appropriate and traceable processes and proceedings are to be established and ensured in order to analyse & monitor proper fulfilment of contractual and committed requirements - Manage professionally feedback from and to the customer, e.g. by a pro-active involvement with the aim of an early feedback to the acceptance due at a later date as well as manage effectively (customer) complaints - Identification of critical business factors, prioritization of improvement projects and measures, realistic resource and budgetary planning, selection of financial and fact oriented KPI's, benchmark oriented targets, coordination of quality target agreements for management, employees and teams - Support the development, implementation and documentation of a consistent Quality Management System; interactions with regional Quality Managers (e. g. central quality policies) and ensure company policies on product safety, optimization of resources and synergies with Environmental, Health and Safety - Monitor and ensure Quality Gates and preventive quality tools in processes and projects. If applicable rejection of delivery or acceptance tests - Development of an appropriate Quality Information System within the project and area of responsibility, reporting of quality status, implementation of that information within improvement measures. Broad communication of quality targets to employees/teams - Ensure supplier related processes as selection, information, development, integration, supervision and auditing - Plan, initiate and coordinate continuous improvement measures with PM Management, preparation of concepts with pragmatic tools, clear organizational roles. Initiation of Best Practice Sharing - Responsibility for audits, assessments and preparation of Management Reviews. Execution of regular internal assessments based on mandatory elements of the Siemens Quality Management - Identify qualification deficits with regards to quality; initiation of quality related methodology trainings including proof of effectiveness. What do I need to qualify for this job? - You have a University degree in e.g. engineering - You have 3-5 years of work experience in projects (erection, engineering, commissioning etc.), preferably from turn-key projects - You are experienced in operational quality management, quality assurance desired - You have Leadership experience as a part project manager. Furthermore intercultural experience is required - Knowledge in Business Administration and knowledge of company internal processes and commercial contexts - IT-Knowledge, MS Office Programs, Knowledge of Quality specific Tools and usage of Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, QFD, 8D Prevention, top+, Process Management - Internal and external Standards and regulations (organizational and super vision duties, ISO 9001:2001, TS16949, VDE, CE, etc.) - Knowledge of products, systems and services of the Wind Industry - You possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.
