For the department Project Support, part of Organization Unit Engineering & Construction we are now looking for a talented and ambitious Project Officer for our office in Kolding. The position is fulltime and unlimited. Your job as a Project Officer The specific purpose of Project Support is to ensure clear and simple processes to support projects, hands on project support and to facilitate a culture of sharing and learning, which are all vital in order to ensure success. Your key activities will be: Project Governance •Alignment between the project and Business Area Wind with regard to the Vattenfall Project Management Model (VPMM) and the Vattenfall Management System. •Contributing to the development and potential adjustments of the VPMM for Business Area Wind. •Ensuring that the Project handbook and its appendices are updated. Reporting •Setting up project progress reporting according to the steering of the project. •Collation of the monthly deliverables from a variety of cross package function, e.g. planning, controlling, risk management and document control. •Coordinating and finalising of progress reporting to governing bodies, stakeholders. •Interacting with package managers and project staff functions to ensure standards in reporting and procedures. Project coordination tasks •Coordinating the project’s interface towards the decision bodies for the toll gate decisions. •Preparing and following up of the material to the Project Steering Group meetings. •Coordinating of Lessons Learnt from and to other projects. Operational support for the Project Director •Supporting and preparing underlying information and documentation of the toll gate decisions. •Support of technical and/or commercial analyses for Project Director’s decision making. •Preparation of internal decision making, conferences, meetings with 3rd parties. •Decision tracking incl. proper documentation; •Supporting the project’s resource management to balance resource demand and supply; •Potential stand in for the project director. Your profile as a Project Officer: Are you triggered by being THE interface for the project? Perfect. We are looking for someone with experience in Project Management Office that has an interest in the Offshore business. Within Business Area Wind we value your communication skills as much as your hard skills. We are looking for a good communicator who is able to listen, bring a message across clearly, retrieve needed information and has the ability to adapt to their audience. •You have a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business administration/Economics; •Professional experience within project management office, preferably large scale projects; •more than 6 years work experience; more than 4 years project experience; •Proven record to summarise complex topics to senior management; •Good understanding of commercial and/or technical impacts on a project’s success; •Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional; •Prefarably working knowledge of SAP. •Fluent in English, written and spoken. •Structured and pragmatic, capable of working autonomously. •Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and frequent changes in priorities.
