For our Auxilary team within Equipment Management development we are looking for an Equipment Project Manager for developing service equipment for the entire SWP turbine fleet. Equipment Management is an internal rental business which rents out equipment required for transporting, installing and servicing wind turbines. We are involved in the entire equipment process from development and retrofit of equipment, to order handling, delivering, receiving, inspecting and maintaining the equipment. Equipment Management is part of our Onshore organization based in Brande, and together with its two Equipment Centre locations in Tinglev and Esbjerg, the department currently employs approx. 170 employees.

What are my responsibilities?

• Managing projects developing new tools and equipment for servicing of Onshore and Offshore Wind Turbines • Carrying out project management according to development tasks within equipment management, including coordination of internal and external resources, task management, feasibility explorations, reporting to management etc. • Validation of proposed solutions up against agreed requirements • Managing the financial aspects projects • Communicating relevant project information to all stakeholders – both internal and external- and key functions in the organization • Participating in improving the project management process in Siemens Wind Power In this position you can expect 20-30 travel days per year.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering combined with 5+ years of relevant work and project management experience • You preferably have technical experience with service operations within the wind industry • As a person you are open minded and proactive with a quality oriented approach to your tasks • You can coordinator many projects simultaneously while maintain focus on the end results • You possess strong organizational and decision making skills, and you have the drive to motivate your team and create a good and inspiring work environment • You thrive in a multicultural environment and you possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
