In times of rising energy prices and climate change, public transport plays a key role. We are preparing the Munich underground for these future challenges. Our ‘Modernisation of the Train Protection System’ project is crucial in terms of expanding the range of services and optimising their quality. Our team plans, coordinates and is responsible for upgrading the entire underground network to state-of-the-art digital train protection and control technology.

What you can achieve with us

  • Assumption of project management duties (project coordination and documentation, risk management) as deputy project manager
  • Functional and strategic support in terms of tendering and procurement (particularly contract, addendum and LCC management)
  • Responsibility for the early detection of deviations from plans and the initiation of countermeasures as part of active risk management
  • Supporting the project in terms of commercial project management and cost control across all service phases
  • Handling of reporting and some aspects of project communication
  • Responsibility for coordinating project members and external companies, as well as for monitoring costs, quality and adherence to deadlines
Job requirements
  • Higher education/university of applied sciences degree with an economic or technical focus or a comparable qualification 
  • Experience in planning and managing large infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of contract management and project/LCC methods
  • Strong awareness of quality, costs and deadlines
  • Confidence in communicating with a variety of contacts, diplomatic skill, but also assertiveness
