About the department

The Business Ethics Compliance Office (BECO) develops and leads the implementation of Novo Nordisk’s global business ethics strategy and compliance programme, which focuses on the prevention of fraud, bribery, and off-label promotion, especially in our interactions with healthcare professionals. As Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful implementation of business ethics compliance processes and activities in Marketing, Medical Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement (MMASE).



BECO consists of 10 dedicated employees and is part of Business Assurance (BA). BA safeguards the Novo Nordisk values and license to operate by providing compliance and assurance services to the entire organisation. In addition to BECO, BA consists of Group Internal Audit, Facilitation, Organisational Audit, and the Novo Nordisk Way of Assurance Office.



The job

To address the increasing need for strong business ethics compliance in a growing organisation, the position as Project Manager is being established. The main task for the Project Manager will be to ensure successful implementation of business ethics processes and activities in MMASE. You will be anchored in BECO’s office in Bagsværd, but spend much of your time in MMASE in Søborg, as you will be the first point of contact in relation to business ethics compliance matters in MMASE.



Key responsibilities include

Setting up and coordinating implementation of business ethics compliance processes; Training of MMASE managers, employees, and external vendors; Acting as MMASE first point of contact in day-to-day business ethics compliance matters; Representing MMASE in relevant fora and working groups

The position will offer you a unique opportunity to obtain valuable insights into Novo Nordisk’s global business and will give you exposure to a larger part of the organisation.



Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree from a University or Business School (preferably within business administration, business law or equivalent) with strong results. Ideally, you have 3-5 years of experience of working hands-on with business ethics compliance in the pharmaceutical industry, setting up processes and driving change management initiatives.



You have strong communication and networking skills, which enable you to clearly communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner and navigate among different stakeholders across the organisation. You are a high performer, proactive, structured and good at adopting a practical approach to your tasks. You speak and write English fluently.
