Project Manager

As Project Manager, under the direction of the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. You will maintain a work schedule for the assigned team and update it for weekly staff meetings; you will have to guarantee timing, costs and quality of the project in accordance with defined targets.

In addition, you will be accountable for all the project documentation and will act as interface between the team, the management and the customer.

A day in life:

• Responsible to assure project delivery within time schedule defined to reach final target (SOP)
• Verify application and delivery of work products expected
• Manage issues and risk of the project
• Manage resources, budget and quality of the projects within the program assigned 
• Assure projects development and lead the plan and implementation
• Define project tasks, resource requirements and coordinate project staff
• Manage project budget and resource allocation upon agreement with the Program Manager
• Plan and schedule project timelines and monitor delays on milestones
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes internally and requested by the customer maximizing profitability
• Project evaluations and assessment of results, including identification of issues and risks

Must have:

• Advanced knowledge of Project Management / Product Lifecycle Management
• Master’s degree in engineering
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in delivering major engineering projects on time and within budget
• Proven management experience
• Customer orientated approach and communication skills
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 suppliers
• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of Jira tool
