We are looking for: PROJECT LEADER – PLASTICS

General purpose of the job: To organize the entire work to win, implement, follow up the

execution of the project in the production, as well as to maintain the already implemented

projects in the production during their life cycle, ensuring maximum profit at a minimum

cost with a guaranteed quality and quantity according to the customers’ requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the industrialization of new products and processes, process validation and

documentation according to company APQP procedures;

• Manage a cross-functional team in a matrix organization;

• Accountable for the overall success of assigned projects;

• Prepare Quotations;

• Involved in optimization of manufacturing process performance;

• Coordinate activities between Toolshop and Production (Trials, Repairs etc.)

• Contact with the internal and external customers of Plastic Injection Department on

technical and technological issues;

• Liaise with suppliers and sub-suppliers;

• Organize, control and lead the participants in the project, which he/ she is

managing;

• Support the communication within and out of the project team – with clients, BU

Managers, other managers of functional departments etc.;

• Responsible for the internal coordination and communication with the client while

implementing new processes and products or changes to already existing ones;

• Initiate and offer specific actions for the improvement of the profit from the

products and decrease the cost price of their production;

• Participate in the selection, requirement clarification and implementation of new

equipment;

• To coordinate with the Business Unit Coordinator/Project Director the decisions

concerning the financial expenses exceeding the budget.

Required personal and professional skills:

• Technical University degree (preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering);

• Project Management tools proficiency (Gantt charts, risk analysis);

• Experience and knowledge of the technological process and the products;

• Ability to read drawings and identify critical quality characteristics;

• Quality standards knowledge (preferable);

• Good communication and presentation skills;

• Strong analytical skills and interpretation of data;

• Team player, result-oriented;

• Flexibility, adaptability and high personal motivation to work;

• Ability to set priorities and follow them;

• Ability to work under pressure;

• Experience in Plastic Injection Moulding and Tools development is a plus;

• Knowledge of English at Upper Intermediate Business Level – written and spoken;

• Second language (French/ German) is a plus;

• Computer literacy – excellent Excel knowledge is a must;
