Job offer description

As a Project Engineer you are responsible for organization of technical documentation of mechanical components. You are also responsible for the review and approval of documentation related to mechanical equipment during design, manufacturing, testing and assembly. You coordinate documentation flow activities related to mechanical equipment with the supplier and sub-suppliers, Fennovoima inter-discipline colleagues and safety authorities during all phases of the project. You will ensure that suppliers follow the agreed time schedule to provide documentation in time and if needed, push suppliers to follow the agreed schedules. You follow in your own work and suppliers’ activities high safety culture principles during the whole process. You work as a part of mechanical engineering team.

Your tasks include e.g.

  • Organization of documentation of mechanical equipment for review and approval
  • Organization of documentation of mechanical equipment from the supplier and sub-suppliers
  • Coordination of review and approval of documentation with safety authorities

The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years’ experience in leading documentation handling of machines and mechanical components
  • Exposure to technical audits and supplier assessment
  • Knowledge in nuclear power plant design, YVL guide requirements, awareness in nuclear safety culture is an advantage
  • Fluent English skills, good Russian skills
