Project Coordinator Heavy Lifting Equipment Brazil

As a project coordinator you will be responsible for managing several (inter)national projects. In this role you will be the contact person within the company (on national and international level) and for external partners (customers, subcontractors, suppliers).  FUNCTION Technical preparation and follow-up of the project: calculations (stability, steel calculations), defining specifications (including safety rules), follow-up on the designs (review, steering project members). Planning and work preparation, collecting all necessary project data.  Contract management (scope, timing, budget) Supervision of the project on site, communication with site supervisors. Managing toolbox meetings. Follow-up during all phases of the project (workshop, warehouse, logistics,…), including final evaluation.  External communication  Logistic support (eg. work permits, accommodation, transport) Budget control (before, during and after the project). Project administration  PROFILE Master degree (mechanics, civil engineering or similar) with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Native Portuguese, fluent in English  Leadership, organization & communication skills Analytical insight Able to work independent, stress resistant, flexible Working in a multicultural, international environment Knowledge of CAE software and strength calculation software (eg. QSE, ESA, Colbeam) Calculations: strength calculations, mechanics and stability calculations Understanding feasibility of the project Reading and reviewing plans & drawings Experience in the sector of heavy lifting equipment is a strong plus Understanding project P&L influences Willing to travel
