About the department

You will join a dedicated and highly competent team in DMD and be at the crossroad between Device R&D, Production and our equipment suppliers. Our mission is to implement new production capacity for FlexPen® devices around the world and to standardise our approach to support Novo Nordisk’s growing market and expansion projects.



The job

As production engineer, you will join a project team, and engage in all production related activities. Your mission consists in ensuring the readiness of the newly established production site to ramp-up and operate the assembly and packaging lines.



You will be in charge of leading and supervising the creation of the local standard operating procedures (SOP), which operate and maintain the assembly and packaging equipment. To succeed, you will have to build up your production expertise based on existing processes and standards. You will also be responsible for providing product and process training to the local organisation by coordinating the support from professionals located in existing production facilities.



Lastly, you will be responsible for setting up the maintenance and operational SOP according to the existing standards. Some travelling activity abroad should be expected (approximately 30 days per year).



Qualification

You hold a Msc. Degree in production, maintenance or process engineering or equivalent and you can justify 3 to 5 years of experience within the industry in a GMP environment. Ideally, you are experienced within production, maintenance and GMP requirements. You are accustomed with systematic problem solving and have a strong commitment towards process optimisation.



As a person, you are open minded and keen to collaborate and communicate in a constructive manner with various stakeholders. Additionally, you have a strong personal drive enabling you to persistently pursue your goals and achieve excellent results. Proficiency in written and spoken English is expected.
