We are looking for candidates for the following position at our Breskens Business Support Centre:



Procurement Manager (1 fte)



As Procurement Manager you develop, implement and maintain procurement procedures for the fleet and the shore organisation, which involves dealing directly with vessels and suppliers. You are responsible for group-wide vendor management and the vendor rating system. You are responsible for cost-effective contract management, analysis of these contracts and you initiate and maintain on-going international supplier relation management with the aim to focus on long term business relationships. Furthermore, you understand and keep up with new trends and regulations in the business impacting the procurement process and lead negotiations on major procurement contracts. In this position you report to the Technical Director.

To excel in this position you should have a Bachelors / Masters degree, preferably in Logistics or Economics and both NEVI 1 and 2. You have a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role within the maritime industry. You have excellent negotiation and presentation skills and are able to build long-term relationships. You should have excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills in English.
