Job Description:

In the role of offshore process operator, you inspect and perform operational activities on production equipment, respond to disruptions in the production process in line with operational plans and in collaboration with the head process operator and other onshore personnel. This is done to ensure safe and consistent equipment performance and achieve agreed production goals. The role holder ensures compliance with all government and company regulations, legislation, procedures, standards, and instructions, including HSEQ, and ensures authorities.

As an offshore process operator, your responsibilities include:

• Operating production equipment.
• Inspecting equipment and conducting safety checks on systems and production equipment.
• Investigating and resolving unplanned issues as necessary.
• Isolating mechanical equipment according to operational plans.
• Supporting the lead process operator (LPO) in daily operational activities.
• Taking and logging samples and preparing and conducting laboratory analyses according to standard procedures, and reporting the results.
• Ensuring compliance with HSEQ procedures, rules, and regulations and contributing to awareness among personnel within and outside the department.
• Attending safety instructions and recognizing and correcting unsafe or hazardous conditions to minimize accidents, incidents, and environmental damage.
• Participating in the emergency response team to ensure swift resolution of emergencies and protect the safety and security of all personnel and equipment.
• Completing assigned competency units related to process activities and HSE.
• Following safety and environmental policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Knowing the platform and being aware of the consequences of your own actions and activities.
• Efficiently performing operational tasks and balancing (un)planned activities.
• Assisting the head process operator.

It is mandatory that you live in a European country.

Requirements:

We would like to discuss the offshore process operator position with you if you have the following qualifications and/or experience:

• You have at least a vocational degree, preferably in a technical field.
• You have 3 years of offshore work experience in the E&P industry.
• Mechanical skills are preferred.
• You have proficiency in both written and spoken Dutch and English.
• It is mandatory that you live in a European country.
