Job offer description

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and optimising construction methodologies for projects and structures going into production.

More specifically:

  • You check and discuss the technical feasibility of drawings, 3D models and COG with the Project Engineer.
  • You give instructions on how to prepare a mock-up.
  • You establish a construction methodology for the production of a specific project and write instructions for it. For this, you sit with our production manager, production manager and HSE staff.
  • You determine the tools and auxiliary steel needed for installation. For this, you are in contact with our various production sites regarding available resources, timing and budget.
  • If necessary, you order external resources from suppliers.
  • You ensure efficient use of existing resources and reuse materials whenever possible.
  • You prepare the project budget.
  • You prepare lifting plans in consultation with the transport department.
  • You write Risk Analysis Method statements.
  • You try to optimise the site in terms of efficiency and make improvements, where possible.
  • You will provide support to production managers by conducting inspection tours and solving ad hoc problems in production.
Job requirements

Our ideal candidate

  • Is holder of a Master in Industrial Engineering.
  • Has knowledge of production equipment (machinery, tools...), (raw) materials.
  • Has a very good knowledge of Autocad.
  • Can work autonomously.
  • Can plan well (you work on several projects at the same time).
  • Can make decisions independently.
  • Looks for cost-saving opportunities and new techniques.
  • Is very much concerned with safety.
  • Has no fear of heights. All the constructions which are made are big and tall!
  • When problems arise, looks for solutions! Can interact well with people and knows how to give instructions.
  • Possesses strong communication skills and is flexible (no 9 to 5 mentality)
  • Can express themselves in English. Knowledge of another language (e.g. Polish, Dutch, ...) is definitely an added value!
