Function

Do you want to be part of creating the operation processes for the next generation of Barco sustainable products, from top-of-the-line Healthcare monitors to the most advanced laser projectors on the market today?

  • As a process engineer you will dive into our manufacturing processes and initiate continuous improvement projects (assembly lines, logistics, ... etc.) to increase capacity, improve efficiency, shorten lead times, ...
  • You will be responsible for several continuous improvement projects and strictly monitor the overall planning. You will report the status and progress of the project to the operations core team.
  • You will take the lead in setting up and optimizing the value stream of several assembly lines
  • On a daily basis you will work together with production, quality, logistics, production engineering, ...
  • You will be part of the operational excellence team

Your profile

  • You have a Masters degree in engineering or equivalent through experience
  • You have a strong analytical mind and a relevant knowledge of lean, kaizen, six sigma
  • You analyze and process data in a structural way, with the help of statistical analysis tools
  • You get energy from creating and implementing creative and innovative solutions
  • You take the lead in new challenging projects and can motivate a team
  • You can perform several tasks/projects in parallel
  • You are positive, assertive and have a “can do” mentality with a human centric approach
  • You always challenge the status quo and are not afraid to rock the boat.
  • You have an interest in Factory of the Future, ...
  • You have knowledge of projectmanagement
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • You communicate fluently, both written and spoken, in English
