If so, we have a great opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Power Engineer to join our office in Ballerup.

As a Power Engineer at DIS, you will enjoy an independent and diverse workday filled with professional challenges that match your skill set. You will be involved in both small and large-scale development projects, either from a DIS location, or on-site at the customer’s location.

 

Projects could include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing distribution systems for plants or industrial applications
  • Substation design
  • PV and wind farm design and implementation.
  • Concept development, involving specialized transformers and BESS for peak-shaving.
  • Testbenches for renewable applications and certification
  • Grid integration
  • Power System Studies

Your profile

We have high ambitions to develop our functional area within Power Engineering and we are looking for a motivated colleague to be part of this journey. You want to make a mark and you will thrive on technical discussion, be team-oriented, and set a high standard. We develop and share our knowledge internal within Communities of Practice, and we expect you to become a member of our Global Power Community.

 

You should hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering and preferably a few years of experience working as a Power Engineer.Throughout your career, you have held various engineering roles in project execution, with experience with concept development, requirement specification, protection systems, testing, monitoring, and documenting.

 

Additionally, you have knowledge and experience in several of the following areas:

 

  • Simulation & Power Studies
  • Switchgear (AIS/GIS/Hybrid)
  • Transformers
  • Filters
  • Energy Storage
  • HVDC
  • Generators & Motors
  • Photovoltaics (PV)

 

Given that you will work with and build strong relationships with various stakeholders, it is expected that you communicate fluently in English or Danish at all organizational levels.
