BHA is seeking an experienced and motivated Planning Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of project planning. The successful candidate will play a critical role in scheduling, resource management, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timeline, resources, and key milestones.
- Create, manage, and adjust detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
- Allocate resources effectively, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the right personnel and materials are available for project execution.
- Track project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Provide regular status updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and ensure successful project delivery.
- Liaise with internal teams, external contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned with project goals, timelines, and expectations.
- Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing expenditures.
- Lead and mentor site team, ensuring consistent application of best practices across all projects.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (PMP, etc.) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning or project management role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, etc.). Strong knowledge of planning methodologies and tools.
