Mechanic Petrochemicals Are you an experienced all-round mechanic and do you enjoy working on challenging projects? Then this position is perfect for you! Job Description As a mechanic you are responsible for, among other things, the fitting and dismantling of flange connections in accordance with regulations. You are acquainted and have experience with pipelines, pipe sections, valves, gaskets, seals, etc. You are able to work independently and from drawings, in accordance with safety regulations and general instructions. It mostly concerns projects in (petro)chemicals. Job Requirements • A valid Working on Flange Connections certificate (Werken aan Flensverbindingen / WF); • A valid Working on Flange Connections according to Protocol certificate (Werken aan Flensverbindingen volgens Protocol / WFPr); • A valid Basic safety VCA certificate; • The Personal Respiratory Protection Certificate (Onafhankelijke Adembescherming); • Completed education (vocational technical schooling) in Metal or similar education; • At least 6 months’ experience with working in petrochemical environments, or having worked 5 stops in petrochemicals; • Good command of the Dutch or English language; • Having any additional diplomas or certificates is to your advantage. (Should you not have the certificates valid and required in the Netherlands, we can agree on a way to arrange certification.) Personal Qualities • You are enthusiastic, reliable, representative and have good communication skills; • You are flexible and have a positive outlook; • You are prepared to take courses and follow training related to this field of work; • You have a driver’s licence B and your own means of transport.
