The Instrumentation Department is responsible for the automation and safeguarding of the oil and gas processes engineered and designed in multidisciplinary project teams by our company. Furthermore, the department is responsible for telecommunication and radio communication of the oil and gas plants with external locations like boats, helicopters and remote control rooms. To ensure safety of operating personnel complete fire and gas detection and security systems like CCTV systems are engineered by the Instrumentation department. Engineers are generality responsible for the generation of a document package enabling correct selection of all equipment related to the above systems. Designers are generally responsible for the generation of a document package enabling correct installation of all equipment related to the above systems. Duties and responsibilities: you are capable to perform administration activities of 3D CAD software not limited to database management, clash manager setup, draft setup and cataloguing. You have to coordinate with multidiscipline designers for component requests. Develop macros to customise 3D environment. You have to provide training to Instrument designers to effectively use the software and resolve their queries, coordinate, control and supervise all Instrumentation 3D work carried out for the project. You have to participate and assist in design and model reviews to insure coordination between the other design disciplines and provide checking services when required.
PROFILE
- +5 years of experience in instrumentation design in oil & gas industry, with in-depth knowledge of PDS, PDMS 3D
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & Microstation
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Hands-on experience creating drafts, ADP,
- reporting etc.
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good communication skills
