Can you drive a D&S’s cross-organisational process group for packaging and do you thrive in a fast-paced project environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring sound solutions to concrete challenges in close collaborations with vendors and our production sites.

Then you might be who we are looking for to join the packaging team of DMD Assembly and Packaging.



About the department

In DMD Assembly and Packaging, the packaging team is responsible for being Novo Nordisk’s premier centre of knowledge concerning packaging processes, machines, and materials, and for providing this world-class knowledge to both our running production and the many projects within packaging at Novo Nordisk.



Additionally the department is responsible for driving the process group for packaging in D&S.



You will join a team of currently seven packaging experts and project managers, which is expected to grow significantly in the coming years.



The job base is located in Hillerød in Device Manufacturing Development (DMD), and 20-30 days of travelling can be expected, as most of our production sites are located abroad. Working language is English.



DMD has a solid expertise in on-boarding non-locals and we welcome non-local applicants, willing to relocate to Denmark.



The job

Your job will consist of mainly consists of managing projects requiring a high level of knowledge and experience with packaging processes, machines, and materials. You will be responsible for driving the process group for packaging within D&S, ensuring alignment of packaging processes across the SVP-area.



You will join projects within packaging as work package owner, ensuring deliveries live up to both external and internal requirements and in line with industry practise and GMP. Tasks such as development and review of specifications, validation planning and execution and similar documentation forming the foundation of our packaging operations are a typical part of your responsibility.



You will further be part of our day-to-day support of our global production organisation. Here you provide expert input on how to solve non-conformities, change requests, and help our sites address the many challenges faced by a global production organisation.



Qualifications

You have a relevant education, preferably academic, such as M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, laying a solid foundation for your 5-10 years of experience with packaging processes and projects, preferably at least two years of actual production experience. Experience from a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical packaging environment is an advantage.



Within your career you have worked extensively with projects, both as a project participant and project manager/work package owner.



You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with high expectations to your ability to drive results both individually and through others.



A systematic approach to problem solving addressing problems at root cause is your natural way of working.



You have a global mind-set and are able to building relations across organisational levels and geography. Strong communication skills are a must as well as well as the ability to deliver high quality presentation material.
