The Merrion, one of Dublin’s finest luxury hotels is recruiting for a Night Auditor.

The Role

We are looking for a service driven individual to join our five star Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to either begin or continue your career in one of the Leading Hotels of the World. Working with a professional and welcoming Team you will be part of creating Merrion Moments for our guests and colleagues with your main duties including:

  • Anticipate guest needs in order to enhance quality service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction
  • Identify and empathise with all internal and external customers of the Merrion Hotel and accommodation Services.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with your colleagues and attend as directed briefing sessions with your supervisor or manager.
  • Attend training and coaching sessions organised by your supervisor, manager or personnel manager.
  • Recognise and carry out at all times the hotels policies and procedures.
  • Positively promote sales within your department and maximise sales opportunities for the whole hotel and support the team in doing so.
  • Carry out and reasonable request made by the hotel.
  • Acknowledge all guests with a smile, eye contact and a greeting if appropriate, using the name if possible.
  • Carry out and complete all duties as laid out on the Reception/ Night Audit Checklist
  • Co-ordinate new starter’s departmental inductions.
  • Assist with the completion of the Departmental Training Audit.
  • Assist with compiling the monthly training nominations.
  • Give feedback to managers on employee performance.
  • Ensure you lead by example in all Merrion standards.
  • Ensure standards are met consistently, and without fail.
