With an ambition to be the best in the industry, we are seeking an engaged and competent Mechanical Engineer with experience in the pharma industry, who is interested in working on machine development projects at a high professional level.

As a Mechanical Engineer at DIS, you will experience an independent job and a varied workday with professional challenges matching your competences. You will be involved in small and large development projects and will be responsible for project implementation in close dialogue with our customers across many industries. You will solve the tasks individually or in teams, either from the office or as a consultant at the customer’s location, and always with the possibility of knowledge sharing with your colleagues.

Job requirements

We are looking for a qualified team member

With this job you can look forward to being challenged both professionally and personally. We are seeking a qualified and motivated candidate who is ready to take on the following responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of production equipment
  • Optimization of production processes
  • Involvement in tendering and purchasing of new equipment
  • Engaging in tests, installation, and validation of production equipment
  • Stakeholder management at customers
  • Equipment supplier contact and technical support
  • Coordination of relevant equipment documentation

 

We expect you to have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree within machine construction and technology, and preferably a couple of years of experience within development and implementation of machinery and process equipment within the pharma industry. You excel at taking on new, complex tasks, and can take on different challenges within projects. Specifically, it is a prerequisite that you possess strong competences in some of the following skills:

  • Experience with 2D/3D CAD (eg. Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo)
  • Knowledge of Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) and general machine safety
  • Experience in GMP
  • Experience or mindset in LEAN method
