Aker Solutions’ drilling technologies business in Kristiansand is part of a world leading supplier of drilling equipment, engineering solutions and project execution to the oil and gas industry. We need highly motivated individuals who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the drilling market. For the miscellanous equipment department, we are now in need of another mechanical engineer to join the team. This is an engagement of one year initially, with possible extensions or a permanent position thereafter.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Mechanical design of miscellanous drilling equipment
- Project execution
- Prepare drawing packages for production of mechanical equipment
- Deliver documentation according to customers requirements
Qualifications & personal attributes

- BSc or MSc degree in mechanical engineering or similar studies
- Experienced Pro-E user ( at least user of 3D design tools)
- Experienced in Autocad
- Good English skills both written and verbal
- Adheres to Aker Solutions’ values
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player
