Job offer description

 

 Main responsibilities/ tasks: 

  • Overall responsibility for mechanical design
  • Preparation of manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
  • Preparation/coordination of technical documents for procurement and production
  • Participate in project meetings internally/externally
  • Coordinate internal disciplines in project implementation
  • Keep up to date on legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Supervision of suppliers
  • Final inspection and testing of equipment

 Qualifications /requirements/ required profile: 

  • Applicants should have technical education in mechanical discipline and experience in structural engineering and structural engineering as well as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or similar modeling tools. 
  • Knowledge of different regulations in the offshore sector (PSA, NORSOK, DNV, ABS, etc.) will be advantageous and one must satisfy the requirements for being able to travel offshore. 
  • Knowledge of structural engineering and relevant work experience in the oil industry is an advantage.
