If yes, you may be the new material responsible in Material Manufacturing Development (ManDev)



About the department

You will join Material Manufacturing Development (Material ManDev) in Product Supply, Sourcing Operations, which will consist of 34 employees organised in three teams a material transfer team and two QC support teams, when we are fully manned. We will be located in Hillerød from November 2015. We are responsible for coordinating transfer of raw materials from development to production, preparing registration documentation and maintain documentation on existing raw materials. We will be cooperating with a variety of functions, including development, QC and QA for raw materials, and various Novo Nordisk production sites and external contract manufactures.



The job

As Material Responsible you will be a key player in setting the control strategy for all the raw materials we use in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and Drug Product (DP) production. You will be working in close and constructive collaboration with API and DP raw material specialists from Development and Support areas.



You will contribute to the process of choosing the right raw materials and secure appropriate documentation on raw materials is obtained. You will be responsible for the control strategy incl. storage and shipping conditions when the raw materials are transferred from development.



As material responsible you will become member of different transfer teams with focus on transferring material knowledge and QC methods from development and production.



Since this is the newly stablished department and function you will have influence on creating the process around the role as material responsible.



Qualifications

You have a Master degree in chemistry e.g. Cand.pharm, Cand.scient or Cand.polyt. You might have experience from the pharmaceutical industry, organic & protein chemistry, however more important is your motivation for working in the cross field of raw materials and modern production of high quality pharmaceuticals. You have a high level of energy to drive yourself and your colleagues forward in order to deliver on your deadlines and milestones.



As a true team player you can contribute to the team’s common motivation with a positive, forthcoming attitude. You work in close cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and departments. Lastly, you must have satisfactory communication skills.



You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
