MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Maintenance department for a Maintenance Supervisor to join
our Bora Bora Ibiza Malta Resort/ Pebbles Resort team. In this role, you should be organized and
proactive. Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems is essential. Your goal will be to ensure
our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike. If you’re also committed to

Main Duties Include:
• Manages the day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Overseeing the hotel’s infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety.
• Leads and manages existing in-house maintenance and grounds team through coordination,
training, supervision, and support in all areas.
• First point of call for all maintenance issues throughout the building.
• Inspects facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
• Organizes repair, installation, and renovation projects.
• Assists in managing the equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical
and life safety systems, and more.
• Establishes an effective hotel preventive and general maintenance program.
• Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests.
• Plan and oversee renovations and construction.
• Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages).
• Manages distribution of repair work orders and monitors timeliness and quality of completion.
• Performs inspections effectively and helps ensure regulatory compliance to facility regulations
and safety standards.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Maintains accurate logs and records as required. Liaise with external contractors and
management team regards on-going maintenance.
• Maintains time and attendance records of the Maintenance team and assigns duties accordingly
in an efficient manner.

• Previous experience and or project management would be considered an asset. 
• Knowledge of overall hotel operations. 
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. 
• Experience in administrative processes or know how. 
• Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing). 
• Holds an electrical licence.
