WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MACHINE OPERATOR (M/F/D) FOR BENDING PRESSES

Wisch Engineering GmbH is a mid-sized company that is specialized in metal-working industry. We develop and produce metal components and assemby groups for railway vehicle sector, machine construction and vehicle manufacturing. With our team (m/f/d) we reach out to our customers all over Europe. Continuous investments in our production site and strategic partnerships with customers are a major focus for a successful and ongoing development of the Wisch Engineering Team. We are located in the Capital of Germany – Berlin – in the district of Spandau.
Job requirements
CHALLENGES
- Manufacturing of initial samples and bent parts for special machinery
- Programming of NC trimming press and mastering machine control control (Cybelek); (machinery: Safan, Bystronic)
- Ensuring correct selection of tools for each bending machine
- Adjust / adapt programs in case of sheet metal differences
- Set-up of machines; Pre-setting tools; Monitoring production and machine processes
- Implementation of quality controls and, if necessary, correction of tool and machine data
- Quality checks on manufactured parts incl. document maintenance
- Work according to technical drawings
Nice to have
COMPETENCIES
- Successful completion of technical apprenticeship program, e.g., construction - or industrial mechanic or similar degree
- Ideally, several years of practical experience in the production process with NC press brakes
- Several years of practical experience in sheet metal processing, e.g. swing-folding, other bending work
- Very good technical understanding, especially as it relates to technical drawings
- Willingness to work shifts, and to work overtime
- Reliable and precise way of working combined with a high awareness of quality and responsibility
- Good language skills in German
- Teamplayer (f/m/d)
