Wondering what an BPA-assistant do?
As a BPA your role will be to provide assistance for clients with disabilities, making it possible for them to live their life as independent as possible. The client will manage the service.
The role as BPA includes assistance with various activities of daily living both inside and outside of the client home, such as:
-assisting with personal needs (including bathing, dressing, toileting etc.)
-assisting with client's professional and private work, dealing with correspondence, phone etc. as directed
-assisting with medical needs, mobility equipment - wheelchair, hoist and client's car
-day to day household tasks, like laundry, shopping, cleaning, assistance with meals
Previous experience is not essential, the training will be provided in your first days of work. Further detail will be given to the potential candidates in the interview.
Employer covers the first month of housing. Employer will also cover the cost of flights to Norway and return at the end of the contract.
Contracts are based on 3 levels. 6 months, 12 months or permanent. Please specify in the application which contract is wanted.
Requirements:
Valid EU drivers licence category B
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and willing to follow further vaccination programs.
Excellent English skills
No criminal record
Previous job experience in a similar position is not required, nevertheless, willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset including an open-minded attitude, are required.
