Supply Chain Planner

We offer

We are located right in the centre of Denmark in the historical city of Odense, but have employees working across the world in intercultural teams.  As our Supply Chain Planner you will report directly to our Operations Manager and be part of a team responsible for planning production, releasing of production orders and monitoring and maintaining the master plan.



Key responsibilities

As our Supply Chain Planner your task will include the following:

  • Quality and on time delivery are the two main parameters of the production and distribution
  • Proactively improve and drive the planning procedure with the above statement in mind
  • Continuously monitoring and following up on forecasts from the market is key driver to correct and improve the master plan and to minimize the stock levels in order to plan on time production
  • Secure an optimal production flow through careful production planning and control of the finished goods stock level
  • Actively support and drive the Phase in/out procedure to secure a smooth transition - in close corporation with the Project Organization
  • A Lean approach to all tasks must be followed focusing on quality while creating flow and removing waste
  • To keep immediate supervisor informed of changes, delays or any other conditions at all times, which leads to production not meeting its quality or delivery terms
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the LMC team
  • Actively participate in cross training and knowledge transfer initiatives across functional teams where possible
  • Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and directions
  • Compliance with internal regulations concerning environment
  • Compliance with policies and procedures communicated from the division
  • Additional duties may be assigned from time to time

Your profile

We expect you to have a relevant background or equivalent combination of education and working experience.

In addition, you have the following characteristics:

  • Experience with planning in SAP is a must, soon moving to SAP HANA.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Strong working knowledge of Business Warehouse and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions
  • Pro-active customer focused team player
  • Desire to work within an international organization
  • Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability
  • Communicate in English both verbally and in writing
  • Strong computing skills (Microsoft Office suite)
