The Product Management Organization bridges the gap between R&D, Product Management, and our customers. Together with the Product Manager, the Application Engineer (AE) fills the role of primary interface between our customers and the internal engineering development teams. The AE supports the Product Managers in defining specific product needs, as well as product lifecycle and support.



Key responsibilities

In the role of Application Engineer, your primary focus will be to define, test, and deliver new products in coordination with development teams and other stakeholders. Your tasks will include the following:

  • Product Manager support: Product roadmaps, competition analysis, business plans, marketing plans, product release coordination, documentation, and the development of functional requirements.
  • Projects: Direct development undertaken by the R&D development teams, participate in agile development, ensure correct specifications, documentation, and verification of concise and complete product requirements, and be available for technical clarifications with R&D colleagues.
  • Testing: Collaborate with other test responsibles on the creation and execution of test plans, testing of products, problem analysis/troubleshooting, reporting and feedback



Knowledge and/or experience we expect from you

We are interested in candidates with domain knowledge about the construction industry, with a keen interest in data and dataflow.

 

  • Machine Control knowledge
  • General Construction site knowledge
  • Knowledge of construction planning tools, autoCAD, Rivit, etc.
  • Experience with basic surveying is highly desirable
