For our CAPA (Corrective Actions Preventive Actions) department we are looking for a dedicated Lean Program Manager. The CAPA department is part of Quality Management in the Global Technology R&D in Brande. We cover NCR (non conformance report) handling, Lean initiatives in Technology R&D, structured problem solving (8D and SixSigma) on critical non conformances, task force management on various quality tasks and project management of medium and large scale quality improvement initiatives. We strive to combine quality competences, learning's from R&D, production and customers and cross-functional project execution into our efforts on creating ongoing Lean and Quality improvements in Technology products and processes. To secure continuation of our Lean program called Standard Work we are recruiting a Lean Program Manager. The Standard Work program aims at mapping and standardizing our design processes and operational engineering processes and at linking these to our daily planning and execution operations. Establishing common standards for our engineer’s operational and practical work is foundation to improving our quality and delivery performance. As part of the program we have launched a sustainment initiative to secure anchoring and effect of the program, which often times is a critical part of harvesting long term success of Lean implementation. Performance feedback loops, maturity assessment and process confirmation are key elements. As part of the CAPA department (7 employees) you will be the main Lean resource and specialist. Assigned to the program is also a student worker who will assist on documentation, workshop arrangements and follow up actions.

What are my responsibilities?

· Responsible for driving the continued roll out of our Lean Standard Work program in Technology · Further development and deployment of the sustainment initiative to anchor long term effect · Practical implementation in the design teams involving lots of Gemba implementation together with the engineers, teams and managers · Drive or support various Lean tasks and projects based on known Lean tools such as visual management boards, value stream mapping etc. · Drive or support various business improvement assignments where Lean and change management expertise is needed · Build and enhance corporation with other Lean departments in the Siemens Wind Power Lean and Quality community

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· You hold an education within Engineering or Business Administration · You hold a proven track record on successful Lean implementation including change management experience and project management experience · Your skill set includes facilitation of process mapping and process improvement design · Experience with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain processes will be seen as an advantage · On top of a strong theoretical platform you have an outgoing and practical profile and like spending lots of time on Gemba and in heavy interaction with the organization · You have a proactive and action-oriented mindset combined with strong analytical skills and a good flair for details · You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing As an open opportunity your profile and your ambitions could preferably also match a potential future management position within Siemens.
