The Instrumentation Department is responsible for the automation and safeguarding of the oil and gas processes engineered and designed in multidisciplinary project teams by our company. Furthermore, the department is responsible for telecommunication and radio communication of the oil and gas plants with external locations like boats, helicopters and remote control rooms. To ensure safety of operating personnel complete fire and gas detection and security systems like CCTV systems are engineered by the Instrumentation department. Your tasks and responsibilities: Developing of key documents (specifications, calculations, requisitions, datasheets Preparing bid evaluations for field instrumentation to select subcontractors and vendors Providing technical assistance to Sales in contracts for prospective customers To evaluate technical bids gathering information from Client and Vendors Specifying instrumentation equipment (DCS, ESD, F&G systems) Maintaining quality assurance and assure the use of modern engineering practices, methods, materials and equipment To use standard specifications, methods
PROFILE
- Bachelor/master degree in electrical engineering
- Fluent in English
- At least 5-8 years of experience in a similar
- environment in the oil & gas industry
- Good knowledge of design software programs (such
- as Intools/ACAD)
- Familiar with classification society rules and design
- codes
- Good communication and leadership skills
