For our global Offshore EHS department, we are looking for an experienced Lead EHS Project Manager to manage a dedicated team of EHS Project Managers supporting our complex offshore wind farm projects. Furthermore, the role of the Lead EHS Mangager will be responsible for operational EHS on our small-scale, but extremely critical, R&D projects executed on special test sites around Europe. The Lead EHS Manager must provide strong leadership within in Health, Safety and Environment including providing expert advice and support to the EHS organization as well as the offshore project teams. This entails developing, implementing and maintaining the safety management system in order to continuously meet client, regulatory and Siemens internal requirements and standards. What are my responsibilities? • Ensuring a consistent approach and high quality deliveries by all EHS Project Managers • Manage the EHS Project Manager team in regard to overall performance • Responsible for EHS on smaller projects/R&D test sites acting as EHS Project Manager • Act as point of contact for escalated issues unable to be solved at project level • Assist in identifying and solving complex EHS issues at regional as well as sector level • Fulfilling the role as line manager for the EHS Project Mangers in regards to HR matters • Monitoring, revising and developing EHS processes and procedures in the management system • Assist the EHS Region Head in general department management acting as his deputy including driving processes across the organization with multiple interfaces to technical and commercial support functions What do I need to qualify for this job? • EHS project management experience from the offshore construction industry or similar marine operations area • Experienced with staff responsibility and strong people management skills • Relevant professional qualifications within HSE management or documented relevant experience from similar role • Significant knowledge of international HSE legislation and relevant industry standards; e.g. OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISM Code. Preferably, this includes auditor competences with a documented track record • Excellent coaching, mentoring and communication skills to manage a complex setup of stakeholders including clients, subcontractors and authorities • As a person, you are a strong team player with the ability to drive complex tasks in cooperation with management and projects as well as a broad span of Siemens corporate functions • You have good English skills, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
