Then you might be the new Laboratory Component Testing Engineer we are looking for at Danfoss.

Securing and developing test setup

With direct reference to the Laboratory Manager, you will become part of a department consisting of 15 skilled and competent employees. As Laboratory Component Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and documenting new test setup as well as developing refrigeration component test and methods in cooperation with R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. You will support competence building at your own or at global laboratories within your own field of experience. Finally, you will participate as the laboratory representative in specific development projects to align requirements for testing etc. with the laboratory capabilities. Success criteria for the position:

· Delivering support to the new product development projects so that they meet their milestones in relation to time, cost, and quality

· Supporting the operation’s quality control and change control projects so that the product specification and quality requirements for finished products are met

· Securing that developed laboratory methods, setup and facilities comply with the required standardisation · Supporting the continuous improvement projects of the laboratory to meet the critical and strategic priorities set

Experienced and innovative engineer

You have a relevant background with a degree in e.g. B.TecMan, B.E. or a Master of Engineering, Mechanics with knowledge concerning refrigeration systems and materials, and you have experience from a similar position or from recent graduate studies. Most importantly, you have special knowledge of thermodynamics or refrigeration. Additionally, you have practical mechanics experience and knowledge of measuring techniques, data acquisition and tools, e.g. LabVIEW or Quantum X. As a person, you are a great team player, who also manages to work independently, for example on new test setup. You are dedicated to accuracy in your work and reporting, and you have a “get-it-done” attitude. You are creative, analytical, structured, and proactive, and you understand how to communicate with many different stakeholders and key personnel. Lastly, you are able to work cross-functionally with different cultures in a global organisation, which is why you are also fluent in written and spoken English.
