Joining our Global Project Management team:

you become a part of a highly skilled team of project managers located in Denmark, Germany, India and Poland. We combine our industry-leading knowledge and experience to develop fast and cost-effective solutions for our customers.

We want to enable a wind powered future. This means we constantly challenge and push the boundaries of wind system solutions to make wind energy the most cost-efficient source and exceed the expectations of our customers.

There is Leadership in everything we do. Leadership is as a very strong culture and enabler for success for our customers. Leadership and management goes hand-in-hand and are independently dependent on each other. We have a strong leadership culture, and leadership is present in everything we do.

“At KK we don’t only need Project Managers, we need leaders that will be full accountable and take the responsibility of leading our projects to create impact”

Take the full ownership of customer product development projects:

As a project manager you are full accountable for the complete end-to-end project execution in terms of time, finances, quality and scope – this includes relevant activities to design for cost, manufacturing and quality. You will take the lead for complex development projects such as control panels and turbine subsystems. Specifically, you will be leading build-to-spec projects where your team handles the whole process from designs to final integration and NPI. In this set-up, you will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Service, etc. as well as the customer’s project management team while making sure there is a high level of involvement and coordination.

You will gain the overall responsibility for customer projects – and through the different stages you will lead all internal and external deliverables for the product, including hardware, software, mechanics or electronics.

This includes:

  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction during the project execution phase
  • Planning and leading projects and securing resources
  • Defining main tasks and prioritising these within the project team as well as the organisation
  • Building as well as leading the team and ensuring the right information flow and cultural awareness
  • Being responsible for and making sure that budgets and deadlines are met as well as for tracking KPIs and reporting to Management
  • Aligning with the latest global standards (Documents, NPI, LEAN, etc.)

Furthermore, you are an important player in continuous improvement initiatives to successfully improve efficiency to the benefit of our customers.

At KKWS we have a very flexible, agile and result driven work environment. As long as you reach your goal, you’ll gain significant influence on the road ahead,” Director Jimmi Andersen explains.

You will be based at our offices in Ikast, Denmark, but you can expect some travel to e.g. Poland.

Work towards a wind powered future:

You can look forward to becoming a part of an organisation that leads the way in the development of wind power.

We’re on an incredible journey paving the way for global sustainability, and we can’t wait to have you onboard. Looking 10 years into the future we can’t even imagine where we’ll be,” Jimmi concludes.

Electrical or mechanical engineer with project management experience:

You are eager to join a highly innovative environment where you sometimes need to think outside the box to succeed with your projects. You also know how to take the lead, manage conflicts and ensure cultural awareness within a team.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant technical background as an electrical or mechanical engineer or similar
  • Have 3+ years of experience with project management preferably combined with a certification like IPMA, PMI or similar
  • Have experience working with product development and NPI as well as working with the development of processes and tools is an advantage
  • Experience in driving projects using a development model like Stage Gate is mandatory and experience with agile development model is a clear advantage
