About the job:
You are the main leader of the kitchen team and you will be responsible for the daily operations in the kitchen. You are planning and scheduling according to activity and effectivity. You are in charge of department meetings as well as individual performance reviews. We would like you to be structured with a good sense of order but at the same time able to think outside the box. You work well under pressure and love a challenge.
The position of Kitchen Manager is primarily operational, follows department schedules and reports to the F&B Manager. It is a 100% full time position. It is mostly operative and working hours will include morning, evening and weekends.

You have extensive experience as a cook or a chef and love to prepare great food.

You are able to communicate in english or a scandinavian language.

We want you to:
Have at least 2 years of experience as a cook or a chef from large kitchens, preferably from hotels.
Have experience in menu engineering.
Have good communication and co-operative skills.
Be thorough, structured, independent and effective.
Have good knowledge of quality assurance/HACCP/ IK food.
Have a good understanding of kitchen finances, calculations, hourly management, cost of goods, purchases, inventory management and inventory counting.
