We intend to hire a Junior Sales Manager, for the Pulp Sales Department, at our Lisbon Office.



Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and conduct negotiations with Customers in their markets (mainly Central Europe), considering the situation and evolution of each Customer and market, credit coverage and assessment of future development;
  • Participate in the definition of the sales budget, especially for the markets assigned to it;
  • Carry out visits to Customers that may have different purposes, such as negotiation (proposal of prices, quantities, and delivery conditions), gathering information about the market and competition, etc., documenting the result and following up on open actions;
  • Follow up complaints and payment issues, ensuring coordination between the Customer and the relevant departments;
  • Support the Commercial Director in managing the financial risk and managing the global credit of the Pulp business (including negotiating the appropriate amounts with the insurance company), as well as in other support functions (organization of conferences, preparation of support information, development of automatisms, etc.);
  • Optimize the Customer portfolio in the market and guarantee a high level of flexibility for non-contracted Customers;
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement programs, identifying and proposing actions that improve the efficiency, productivity and quality of products and services.
Job requirements

Profile Required:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Management or similar;
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies;
  • Solid computer skills from the user's perspective (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Proactivity and orientation for results and for the client;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Communication and negotiation skills;
  • Fluency in the German (mandatory requirement) and proficiency in English.
