About the department

You will join a dedicated and highly competent team in DMD and be at the crossroad between Device R&D, Production and our equipment suppliers. Our mission is to implement new production capacity for FlexPen® around the world and to standardise our approach to support Novo Nordisk's growing market and expansion projects.



The job

As IT/Automation engineer, you will be responsible for the quality, compliance and standardisation of the IT and automation part of the project for the assembly and/or packaging line.



You will set the requirements for the IT package of the equipment and ensure its compliance with internal and external requirements (21CFR part11, Gamp 5). You will perform design and code reviews of the equipment and supervise and contribute to the elaboration of the validation documentation. You will ensure testing and approval of the equipment.



Finally you will be in charge of ensuring proper hand-over of the equipment to the line of business to secure the maintenance of the documentation and the equipment and providing inputs to improve the validation standards. Travelling abroad is expected (approximately 30 days per year).



Qualification

You have combined your MSc degree in engineering, IT/Automation or similar with 3-5 years of experience in IT support. You have a proven track record with GMP expertise and have successfully worked with IT validation.



Success in this job calls for structured person balancing theory with a pragmatic approach. You thrive with both highly technical tasks and other tasks requiring strategic thinking. You are keen to collaborate and communicate in a constructive manner with the various stakeholders. Lastly, you have a strong personal drive enabling you to persistently pursue your goals and achieve results. Proficiency in written and spoken English is expected.
