Ensuring that the System Security Risks are managed to the best economic advantage of the company and the mitigations in place are cost effective. In additional you are responsible for managing a strong working relationship with your peers across IT, IT Security and ASML Sectors organization. Finally you will coordinate the implementation of IT security for ASML's systems globally.

The position has got the potential for running a team of 3 FTE.

Job Description

You will be, as a System Security Manager, responsible for protecting computer and data assets by developing and maintaining the Systems Security strategy and policies. You are responsible for directing system controls, policies and procedures, and monitoring and evaluating systems companywide.

In addition, you will establish system safeguards, develop controls and conduct security improvement projects for ASML systems and applications. You have got experience in managing security audits and advising senior management. You will be doing this by identifying critical security issues and recommending risk-reduction solutions.

What kind of tasks are waiting for you?

• Formulate the Systems Security strategy to meet business needs and corporate requirements   providing professional advice to the Director for IT Security on System Security risk management.
• To contribute to the development of a Systems Security management framework to protect IT assets, in line with the global strategy
• Be the lead on Systems Security issues globally, assessing and mitigating risks thereby ensuring that ASML fulfils its Corporate and Social responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment. 
• Lead on Identity and Access Management and ensure the effectiveness of logical access procedures and systems is monitored and to propose/implement improvements. Equally lead on Privileged Access Management.
• Conduct technical and administrative security audits in cooperation with the related ASML sectors. Provide Assurance on Cyber Resilience Disaster Recovery Plans across ASML.
• Report to management about the effectiveness of data security, and make recommendations for the adoption of new procedures or controls.

Context of the position

You will be working in the Competence Center Security within the ASML IT organization.

Requirements & Skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in MIS or related;
• Valid industry certifications such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or CISM. CISA are a plus;
• Experience in ISO 27001 or equivalent is a plus.

Experience

• 8+ years professional experience with a focus on information systems security, compliance and privacy.
• 5+ years' experience managing enterprise-wide security policies and systems
• Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions and present results to management
• System and network related knowledge is required, application knowledge a plus
• Solid project management skills
• Able to summarize and communicate technical data to a non-technical audience
• Sound understanding of security technologies, techniques and best practices
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with customers and suppliers; 
• Experience in planning and managing strategic security programs.

• Entrepreneurial;
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Command of the Dutch language is a plus;
• Highly-motivated, with a strong work ethic and able to work effectively under minimal supervision;
• Willing to travel to other ASML offices abroad (+- 10%).
