Based on the defined ASML business risks, the IT Security Architect needs to define IT security solutions, balancing required functionality, performance and cost.

 

Job Description

1. Define ASML IT Security requirements aligned with ASML's risk appetite.

2. Drive the overall IT Security Architecture in close cooperation with the IT Enterprise Architect and Corporate Security.

3. Develop and deploy IT Security Framework, Policies & Guidelines regarding IT Infrastructure & Applications.

a. Ensure compliance with the current IT Security Policy and Standards.

4. Architect and design secure solutions in support of ASML's initiatives using industry best practices.

5. Perform IT risk assessments.

a. Monitor and report on security technology trends and requirements, such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.

 

Context of the position

The IT organization is responsible for providing IT support on applications & infrastructure. The IT Security Architect reports to the Director Means & Methods within IT.

Requirements & Skills

Education

Master degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Experience

  • •10+ years of experience as an IT security architect, preferably experience in both Software and Infra development environments and engineering experience with network, server and application security technologies and concepts.
  • •10+ years of experience in working in complex project environments and environments with the integration of multiple business applications (e.g. SAP, TCE) including knowledge of IT Security Frameworks (e.g. ISO 27000).
  • •Knowledge of enterprise architecture
  • •Key member of knowledge networks of peer Enterprise Architects from other companies
  • •Extensive experience with architecture process and up-to-date with technological direction from industry analysts.
  • •Being a recognized industry expert in the area of IT Security Architecture.
  • •TOGAF certification.

  • •Have the ability to bridge business and technical challenges.
