About the department

You will be part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) with 30 dedicated colleagues divided into three teams. S&OP is part of Supply Chain Planning in Product Supply, which has the central planning responsibilities.



The S&OP department has the overall responsibility for capacity planning on a 0-36 months horizon for all production areas in Novo Nordisk. Furthermore we are responsible for supply chain performance management and short term supply risk mitigations in collaboration with both sales regions and production sites. The internship is anchored in one of the teams named PS Market Support.



The job

You will get the opportunity to join an international, high performing department. You will play a key role in improving our performance management platform by introducing and standardizing new tools supporting logistic functions all over the world. Among other tasks you will be responsible for driving initiatives supporting the next generation of reporting in Novo Nordisk. You will also support our business analysts with offshoring tasks to our colleagues in India and with advanced supply chain optimisation projects ie. optimisations of logistic flows and distribution from our manufacturing sites towards our sales affiliates.



Qualifications

We are looking for an intern, who is passionate about initiating and driving continuous improvements in an international supply chain context. You are analytical, structured and comfortable managing your own time and deliverables. You are already a skilled user of Microsoft Excel and Power Point. As a person you are outgoing with strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to making a true difference and result-oriented. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.



Practicalities

Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months. Start date can be flexible.
