Gladsaxe, 1 stilling

- Student & Internship

- Denmark - Søborg

At Novo Nordisk, we share a passion for changing patients’ lives, and we are always looking for talented individuals who want to join us in this effort. Our internships provide exciting learning opportunities for students who bring new ways of thinking to our company.

About the department

Global Medical Affairs is part of the area called Marketing, Medical Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement. Global Medical Affairs consists of around 100 employees and four smaller areas, including Study Programmes.

Study Programmes is an international team of around 30 project managers with diverse personalities and backgrounds (project management, marketing, communication and clinical development). We provide communication support to complex clinical trials, which are critical for the success of Novo Nordisk’s current and future product portfolio. To achieve trial success, we drive external partnerships with experienced trial doctors and nurses, and based on their input we tailor innovative and communicative patient recruitment and retention initiatives.

The Job

Your main responsibility will be to support and drive the development and implementation of planned recruitment and retention activities. Key tasks for you to execute will include the following:

Develop and implement recruitment and retention initiatives targeting patients, site staff and Novo Nordisk employees, e.g. written guidance documents to site staff, educational materials to patients in various formats and internal share better practice web portals.

Support planning of global meetings, typically involving experienced trial doctors and nurses from the Diabetes industry.

Leverage established internal channels to manage communications with colleagues located across the globe. Manage collaboration with vendors, with an opportunity to innovate processes and negotiate terms when relevant.

Liaise with multiple cross-functional stakeholders on a global as well as local level. Considering the global scope of your responsibilities, a few travelling days can be expected during your internship period. This brings you to the forefronts of our activities, where the exposure and inherent key learnings will be valuable.

Qualifications

You are pursuing a relevant MSc on your first or second year of your master studies. Knowledge of and some experience in project management is vital, and an interest in treating diabetes is preferable. You are able to work on multiple tasks in parallel and cope well under time pressure while maintaining your sense of humour. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. A reference of successful collaboration and influence on multicultural and multidisciplinary stakeholders would be favoured. You have good communication and presentation skills as well as a strong command of English, both written and spoken. You are a strong team player with sense of urgency.

Practicalities

Qualification: The internships are aimed exclusively at Danish based students in their first or second year of studying for a master’s degree.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months.

Start date: 01 March 2016

At Novo Nordisk, your skills, dedication and ambition help us change lives for the better. In exchange, we offer you an opportunity to work with extraordinary talent and benefit from a range of possibilities for professional and personal development.
