About the department

Manufacturing Development is building the bridge between development and the Manufacturing units.

The department lead cross organisational and complex optimisations opportunities in Diabetes API by optimising existing processes and analytical methods. New processes and analytical methods are matured and implemented. We support the entire Diabetes API production with specialized expertise knowledge within equipment, process, chemistry, modelling and statistics.



The job

During your internship, you will be involved in Process Justification activities (OFAT, Screening design, DOE etc.). In specific protocol writing, planning of laboratory experiments, data collection, data analysis and finally reporting of experiments.

You will have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of internal stakeholders.



After the internship period there could be an opportunity to execute a Master Science Thesis in the department.



Qualifications

You are currently studying on your master’s degree in science (pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering or other relevant scientific discipline) and experienced in protein chemistry and downstream

processing; We expect the candidate to thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude; To be successful , you need a structured approach, have a critical eye for details and a mind focused on quality and enjoy working together with other people to make things happen; You must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibilityThe intern we are looking for is passionate about establishing and documenting new protein based recovery and purification processes



Practicalities

Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months.

Start date: 1. February 2016
