About the department

You will get the opportunity to join a team of highly skilled engineers and designers, responsible for developing a new platform of injection devices to support future Novo Nordisk drugs. The development is characterised by involvement of a broad range of stakeholders, internally as well as externally, on a daily basis and this gives us the foundation for creating innovative, safe and robust devices.



The job

You will support a large mechanical development team that is currently maturing a device concept in close collaboration with the production to achieve a robust and ready for high volume production device platform. The job will consist of a great variety of tasks such as analysis and evaluation of mechanical challenges, development of solutions, CAD design, prototyping, testing, review of test results and test documentation, and input to presentations. Documentation of your contributions will be a part of the job to maintain your achievements.



Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who is passionate about mechanical development with a creative and analytical mindset. You are currently studying on your master’s degree in Engineering or other relevant field. Basic knowledge within mechanical design of polymer components is preferred. You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You thrive in a busy environment, is self-driven, service minded and fluently in both oral and written English. Finally, you must have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.



Practicalities

Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.

Start date: January 2016.
